This is the R2D2 only pin from the 40th anniversary Star Wars mystery set. The pin features a photo of the actor as the character on a colored background with the character's name printed below. In this case, Artoo-Detoo . The set commemorates the 40th Anniversary of the premier Star Wars movie, A New Hope. Each box contained 2 randomly selected pins.The entire set is 12 pins. There are 6 limited release pins and six chaser pins. The Chasers are a limited edition 1500. The pins are made to resemble the sticker set from the original set of Topps Trading Cards.
