Prototypes of this pin were produced, but ultimately the pin was not put into production. It is rumored that there are under 10 of the prototypes circulating in total, but the exact amount remains unknown. It is also unknown who the prototypes were offered to. A black prototype is known to exist in addition to this gold one, but it is unknown if there were any silver variations produced.
The pin is the same pose/design as Pin 96256 (an older pin from Belgium), but is hard enamel. It is a large-sized pin, and the back is stamped with the Disneyland Resort/Disney China copyright.
