Part of a series of monthly limited release pins celebrating Disney Storybook Classics Pin Collection (July 2017). Each pin is designed to look like a book with a hinged cover that opens to show a scene from the story. Mighty Casey of Mudville swings for the fences. Inspired by the Casey at the Bat segment of Walt Disney's animated classic Make Mine Music (1946). The front of the pin reads Walt Disney Casey at the Bat and features Casey standing at home plate with the catcher and umpire behind him. Inside is a color image of Casey holding 6 bats. On the back of this pin there is a DS seal and a Official Pin Trading 2017 seal.

The web site listing of this pin stated LE1100. The backstamp of actual pin says LE800. Disney was notified of the error but never made any official announcement as to which was incorrect, the listing or backstamp.
