This pin is part of a series of pin released for Mickey's Star Spangled Pin Event at Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World on June 29th.
This two pin set features a Musical Mickey pin and a Light Up Minnie Pin, each one half of what when put together represents the shape of the United States of America as the American Flag. The ribbon at the bottom of the pins read The land of the free and the home of the brave.
This pin set has been broken up by WDW. I received the Mickey half of the set in a grab bag at the 2003 Pin Celebration. Just an FYI for those trying to trade for these pins. You may find it easier to trade for the halves from individual traders.
