This pin is one pin from the 2017, NYCC, convention exclusive, six character, Star Wars pin set. This pin depicts the droid R2D2 in classic comic style. The background is sky blue and cloud like rising around R2D2 standing on a blue surface. The pin back has one pin post, two nubs, Star Wars logo, and Lucasfilm Ltd (stamped into the metal). The back does not have a waffle pattern (the back is smooth). The pins were sold individually or in a set of six. The clam shell cards resemble the vintage Star Wars figurine packaging. R2D2 is on a blue card. The set was also available online. All pins are officially licensed through Lucas Film & Disney.
