Front Description
This limited edition pin is part of the collection for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which celebrates various art forms and mediums from around the world. This pin features everyone’s favorite purple dragon, Figment, from the Journey Into Imagination ride, cleverly inserted into the famous work of art, “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci (1506). Figment poses in the painting as the titular figure, clad in the same brown robe, with his arms crossed, and wearing the same infamous expression (though Figment’s smile seems more mischievous than mysterious). The portrait itself is coated in a thick layer of soft clear acrylic and inset into a sculpted gold frame embellished with elegant fleur designs on the corners and sides, an artist’s brush and paint pallet emblem on the top, and an emblem of Figment’s face and wings at the bottom. Dangling from the bottom of the portrait is the logo for the Festival. This pin is a re-creation of one of the portraits found when playing Figment’s Brush with the Masters scavenger hunt (but don’t tell Tom Hanks). Other pins in the series include: For search purposes: January 2018, masterpiece, woman, girl, enigmatic, Renaissance
