PP1287    DLR - Partners Statue - Disneyland 45th Anniversary - Box Set

One of five pins from a boxed set (PP36159) with a edition size of 1000. The set came in a cherry wood box with brass lid plate which has three retro pictures of Disneyland and Walt Disney.

The pin depicts the Partners statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. At the top are the words Forty-Five Years of Magic. Below the statue are the words Disneyland, 45 Years, 1955 - 2000, and The Original.  This pin is a colorized version of PP487.

Note: Some sets come with a Certificate of Authenticity; others do not. According to some reports, the Certificate was removed from about half the sets after it was brought to Disney's attention that it stated pins were "individually numbered" (an apparent printing error). To avoid confusion, the Certificates were removed from unsold sets.
