PP1323    WDW - Animal Kingdom Backstage Safari Tour

Front Description

This dangle pin was given away after taking the Backstage Animal Kingdom Safari Tour in October 1999. The top portion is the tree of life foliage and has Disney's Animal Kingdom. Below the greenery is a portion of the Animal Kingdom logo's animal parage. Clearly visible is the original logo silhouettes of an elephant, a dragon and a Triceratops dinosaur. Dragons were actually supposed to be a part of Animal Kingdom! They were going to be included in a land within the park called Beastly Kingdom and it would have featured mythical animals such as unicorns and dragons. The dangle pin hangs off two small gold chains that says: 'Backstage Safari" in gold lettering against a green rechangle. Going on the tour was the only way to get this pin. On 4/4/2002 the tour costs $65.00.
