Front Description
Large, bronze-colored brooch of Alice sitting and holding a crown of daisies. Came on an olive green, embroidered hat found in France. Front of the hat depicted the White Rabbit's house with him standing off to the left. Alice (in pin form) was sitting off to the right. When removing the brooch from the cap, I noticed Alice was also embroidered into the design behind the pin. Brooch measures approximately 1.8 inches tall by 2.1 inches wide, and is rather heavy and thick.
Like many of Disney's vintage brooches, back does not contain a Disney copyright, however the tag of the hat that it came on does. Am unsure of exact origin of both the pin and hat, but quite possible they were sold at Disneyland Paris. Very likely the pin and hat where never available separately (hence the lack of a copyright on Alice), but as a "pre-made" combo.
