This pin is extremely exclusive, only available to the chosen few selected to act as Ambassador's for the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts. Is is an integral part of their uniform and not an award. This Ambassador pin was introduced in Fall 1996, and first worn at the 1997 Ambassador Team Ceremony. The new pin features the "Mouse-Ear" World logo with a silver "D" on top. A banner featured the word "Ambassador" in blue below the world logo. An Ambassador wears his or her pin above their nametag on the left side. The Walt Disney World Ambassador Team represents the heritage and legacy of Disney and the friendly, diverse spirit of Cast Members. They share the Disney traditions with other Cast Members and the world.
