This button was released to promote the opening of Splash Mountain in Disneyland in January of 1989. The button shows Brer Bear and Brer Fox in a Splash Mountain Log. ©1988 the Walt Disney Company. This button is an error, yet was not when it was made. When this button was made Splash Mountain WAS scheduled to open in January 1989. Splash Mountain ended up opened on July 17, 1989 (Disneyland's 34th birthday). It's opening was delayed by six months because of technical problems with the ride/boats.
