Front Description
This rounded corner square pin celebrates Walt Disney's birthday, December 5th. The pin is molded metal with a black and white photograph of Walt, glazed in soft enamel at his desk, finishing a drawing from SteamBoat Willie at the ship's wheel. In the frame around the picture is "Walt Disney Day" sculpted on top, "2019" at the bottom. In the left side of the frame from top down the following characters: Minnie, the Cat, Clarabelle, Pete the Boat's Captain, a Parrot, duck and goat. Mickey is a pin on pin, hands on his hips, at the left side of the picture. Pin measures approx. 4.5cm.
Walt Disney Day (Walt's birthday) was first established by President of the United States Ronald Reagan on December 5, 1986.
