"D" is for Dumbo the flying elephant, featured on this set of three pre-production samples from a series of alphabet-themed collector's pins developed exclusively for sale at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.
Included in this lot are a black-metal first sample dated July 26, 2001, plus one black-metal and one gold-finished second sample, each dated August 7, 2001. Because these pins represent various stages in the pre-production process, each differs somewhat from the final production version.
