Front Description
This is one of series of 100 pins that were made from the artwork that Disney commissioned Eric Robison to create. A complete framed pin set #10102 was released in February. Each set 5 pins from the series will be released each week until the entire set of 100 have been released.
This pin is a color painting of Mickey kicking up his heels (MM 074).
"I wanted to contrast Mickey's joy with a darker palette I thought that the emotional exchange was interesting."
At the lithograph signing, Eric Robison's mom happened to approch him just as I was coming up to the table. He told her that this was the painting on which he put her name (in Mickey's ear) - you can see it on the painting, but not very well on the pin.
