Front Description
This 8-pin set was given to Cast Members at Walt Disney's Burbank Studios, Operations Dept., in recognition for their efforts in making a major move in 1995.
The set depicts eight of the studio's buldings as pins: the Animation Building with the Sorcerer Hat, the Main Entrance Gate, the Commissary, the Personnel Building, Stages 6 & 7, the Zorro Parking Structure (abbreviated on the pin as PKG), the Hyperion Bungalow, and the Frank G. Wells Building (abbreviated on the pin as BLDG).
Pins have the modern postback and came in a blue box entitled "The Walt Disney Studios Operations - 1995." Inside the box was a card that reads, "1995 was the year that the Studio Lot made its transition from its past to its future. This effort could not have been accomplished without the enormous contribution of the Studio Operations Team. Thank you and best wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous 1996."
The pins are small - most of the pins are only 1" on the longest length. The pins are gold metal. There are no markings on the back of them.
Individual pins in the set are: The Main Gate (#42994), Hyperion Bungalow (#42995), the Commissary (#42996), the Zorro PKG. (#42997), Animations (#42998), Studios 6 & 7 (#42999), the Personnel Building (#43000) and the Frank G. Wells BLDG. (#43001).
