Front Description
Twenty-four characters from the World of Disney were selected to be represented through symbols and colors on 24 different cloisonné pins. The individual pins could be “hung” as “ornaments” either on the pop up pin card Christmas Tree or with the aide of the attached black ribbon onto a Christmas Tree.
These pins were sold in a large case with 24 numbered drawers.
Donald Duck is known for his temper almost as much as he is known for his sailor suit which is represented here on this pin. The ornament topper is black with a forked black ribbon hanging down, right. This is to hint at Donald’s classic hat. Below this topper is a white, upside down triangle that creates the V-Neckline of Donald’s shirt against his white feathers. The rest of this pin is designed to look like Donald’s iconic fashion and has a blue background. There are mirrored yellow arches following the “V’s” shape of the neckline to designate the space as the collar of the shirt and end in the center at a large red bow that is the final iconic accessory of Donald’s suit.
