Twenty-four characters from the World of Disney were selected to be represented through symbols and colors on 24 different cloisonné pins. The individual pins could be “hung” as “ornaments” either on the pop up pin card Christmas Tree or with the aide of the attached black ribbon onto a Christmas Tree.
These pins were sold in a large case with 24 numbered drawers.
This pin uses rows of color blocking to represent the Boss Mouse himself, Mickey Mouse. The first band is a solid black. Below the first band, is another thick row. This second row is red with two vertical, yellow ovals. The bottom two bands are black and yellow. These rows of black, red, black, yellow follow the same Ears to toes color patterns that Mickey boasts. The black is his fur. The red with yellow ovals is his shorts. The yellow at the bottom is his shoes.
