Front Description
Twenty-four characters from the World of Disney were selected to be represented through symbols and colors on 24 different cloisonné pins. The individual pins could be “hung” as “ornaments” either on the pop up pin card Christmas Tree or with the aide of the attached black ribbon onto a Christmas Tree.
These pins were sold in a large case with 24 numbered drawers.
The Little Mermaid is the feature character. The background is filled with the vibrant red that is recognizable as Ariel’s hair color. Three purple clam shells are placed around the edges of the pin. Bubbles of different blue hues are clustered beside each shell (three near the ornament topper create a hidden Mickey head). The light teal fins of Ariel’s tail are trailing in from the left.
