Front Description
Brer Rabbit is sitting in a log facing left with a scared expression on his face. He is clutching the front of the log with his right hand and the side of the log with his left.. He is wearing a yellow collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up. On the side of the log in light blue lettering it reads SPLASH, below that, in red lettering it reads MOUNTAIN. This pin has blue water. This pin is identical to pin #291, except it is the earlier version, released in the early 1990's and made in Taiwan. This pin is made with cloisonne enamel which is an ancient practice using glass silica and heating it to high temperatures before placing it into the pin. This makes the colors look much more jewel tone. It was sold at Tokyo Disney Resort. It comes on a greyish blue 1 1/2 in by 2 in plastic card. In the upper left corner is Mickey Mouse. Top right it reads © DISNEY. Bottom center it reads MADE IN TAIWAN.
Back Description
The back of Brer Rabbit has a gold waffle finish. In the center is a single post with a barb built into the post. Below the post is a recessed rectangular box which reads, in raised lettering, © DISNEY, MADE IN TAIWAN.
