This is the Prototype of #8444. The wit and wisdom of Walt Disney is remembered on this pewter-finished pin prototype, which preceded a limited edition of 100 pins finished in antique copper, from a series of 10 different collector's pins featuring Walt's timeless quotations. Above his signature, the book is opened to Walt's quote, "You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world … but it requires people to make the dream a reality." This is the 8th in the series.
Only four of these pewter-finished prototypes were produced, developed exclusively by Disney Auctions.
