Please be advised that there are unauthorized versions of these pins being sold from China directly to individuals not associated with Disney. No one can guarantee the authenticity of this pin unless it was purchased directly from Disney.

The unauthorized version is silver finished with a 2006 ODPT logo and no edition size.

The authorized one is gold finished with 2002 ODPT logo and has the Mickey's Trade Tour logo on the back that includes "Walt Disney World" and "LIMITED EDITION 2500". The "Walt Disney" is in fancy script.

Both pins have a box with "(c) Disney" and "MADE IN CHINA" but the real pin has the "Disney" in fancy script (exactly like in the Mickey's Trade Tour logo) while the fake pin has it in all capital letters.
