Front Description
This is a very old pin featuring the older version of Pluto. A full body, side angle - Pluto has a red tongue and a black collar. A portion of the black paint is missing on the collar as well as a piece of the golden enamel in one of the back legs.
This vintage Pluto pin was produced by one of the first Disney licensees, Brier Manufacturing Company in the late 1930s. It likely is the first Pluto pin produced.
The tongue is made of red glass. The space below Pluto's neck once had a piece of yellow glass. It has a brooch clasp.
