Billed as "the world's funniest cartoon character," Mickey Mouse graces this charming gold-finished prototype pin, which preceded a limited edition of 100 black-metal collector's pins. Re-creating vintage movie poster art, it commemorates the 1929 release of the Mickey Mouse cartoon "Wild Waves." Developed exclusively by Disney Auctions, only four of these gold-finished prototypes were produced. This is a prototype for one of the pins in set 11896 (the individual pin is not in PinPics yet).
