This open stock rack pin released at both WDW and DLR commemorates the heroic efforts of firefighters. Mickey is shaking hands with a fireman/firefighter to say "thanks".
This pin is the same as a print produced by Disney as a tribute to all firefighters for their heroic efforts during the 1993 firestorms. Disney called the Anaheim Fire Department requesting a firefighter to commission a sketch. The firefighter's name is Dave Baker, a rookie at the time, who went to the Disney Studio and the print was produced in two weeks.
This pose is very similar to #19860.
As with several pins, Disney has been producing this pin year after year for quite sometime. while the only change intended is the
current year on the backstamp, sometimes there are variations in color shades.
