This is one of series of 100 pins that were made from the artwork that Disney commissioned Eric Robison to create. A complete framed pin set #10102 was released in February. Each set 5 pins from the series will be released each week until the entire set of 100 have been released.
This pin is a color painting of a Mickey with lots of different poses of Mickey in the background (MM 096).
"The background is the very first painting of the 100...it's how it all started...it is actually 100 Mickeys in itself…the largest painting of the collection as well…and the most paint used...very thick…very important piece. The foreground: I had been fascinated with Kabuki theater...thought that I would try it with Mickey."
