Front Description

This hinged pin features a peek-a-boo window on the front, has gold diamonds at the top, and a gold diamond with a seahorse on the bottom left. The bottom right is black and says, "Disney (cursive) Designer Collection". The inside is matte silver and says, "Princess Ariel". The Little Mermaid is shown as a doll. She has red hair that is long and on her left side. She has flowers in her right ear and large earrings. Her dress is lavendar, allows for an exposed left arm, and has seashells in the chest area. The dress has a train that fades from lavendar on the top, to purple, then finally blue on the bottom. Ariel is wearing gray high heels. The pins from this Designer Princess Collection feature Disney Princesses rendered in an elegant art deco design. The pins, which measure 3" high and 1½" wide, all have a clear, hinged window frame on the front and a hard enamel infill. All pins are designed by various artists and they have a facsimile of the artist's signature on the back of the pin. The pins came with a 3 page black & gold card with details of the artist that designed the pin. 2nd Edition
