PP15856    CAST MEMBER GRAND OPENING MICKEY'S KITCHEN WITH RIBBON

In the early years of the DSs, Cast Members were given this type of button with ribbon to wear on their sweators to promote a new movie in the theatres or video release. This button was created to promote the Grand Opening of Mickey's Kitchen, a fast food restaurant that was an unsuccessful venture for Disney and closed within 18 months. Each store was given a very limited number of buttons, sometimes so limited that Cast Members had to share and buttons unfortunately disappeared from their Medford College type sweators. This button with ribbon is hard to find because there were few DSs open at this time in the USA and therefore fewer Cast Members with the original sweators.
