Released on 20 Feb 2020, this is the ninth of twelve Monthly pins from the STAR WARS FIRST ORDER RECONNAISSANCE series released in 2019-20 at Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland. Each pin has a square, black rim, with targeting marks on the sides, done in enamel with metal details. BLACK SPIRE OUTPOST is written at the top, BATUU (in Aurebesh) on the bottom. The black-and-white printed image in the center is on a see-through sheet that's been riveted onto the back. Because of Covid shutdowns, a number of these monthly pins were released on shopDisney.com.
Concurrently, they released a similar Monthly pin series at WDW called STAR WARS FIRST ORDER SCOUTING. The WDW pins were round and red with similar styling.
This pin features an Imperial TIE Fighter on the left, a pilot on the right.
Pin measures 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 inches.
