PP1601    DL - Mickey Mouse - Disneyland 30th Year - Mickey Painting Castle

This pin is keyhole shaped with a white background. In the round upper portion, it has a graphically designed logo of a yellow, red and purple banded stylized Sleeping Beauty castle, and the "Disneyland" logo across the open doorway. The top spire of the castle protrudes out of and above the top circle of the pin. The rectangular bottom portion features a pink faced Mickey Mouse wearing his tradional red shorts with yellow buttons, yellow shoes, and white gloves. He is standing on an angle almost backwards leaning back with an artist's paint brush in his right hand, as he underlines with a stroke of black, the words he has just painted which say, "30th Year" - which woudl be 1985. An open bucket of black paint is next to his right foot, and the bottom of the bucket and a portion of his foot protrude off the bottom of the pin. 1" x 1 3/4". This pin design was used as a logo on some of the park's larger shopping bags during the 30th anniversary event.
