In the Disney short “Once Upon A Studio” Flora and Merryweather have disagreement as to whether the Sorcerer‘s Hat on the Roy E. Disney Animation building at the Burbank Studio should be pink or blue. For this pin, Flora has won out.
Except for the color this pin is identical in design to PP146288. The hat is 1 ½” high x 7/8” wide at the base. It is 2 shades of pink split down the middle from top to bottom. 3 white stars can be seen near the top of the hat and another near the base. There is a crescent moon near the center. This pin was made by the Feature Animation Department for sale to employees and guests at the studio in Burbank. The pin came on a white backing card with Disney Once Upon A Studio the top and Limited Edition at the bottom. Pencil sketch drawings of Fauna, and Merryweather are on one side of the card and Flora is on the other. The back of the card (which is black) has the Walt Disney Animation Studios 100 logo.
