PP160598    WDI - Jiminy Cricket - Pinocchio - Disney 100 - Destination D23

This is one of one hundred 100 YEARS OF DISNEY ANIMATION pins released during the 2023 Destination D23 at Walt Disney World on September 8-10. Each pin features a different Disney character, chosen to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Animation at the Walt Disney company. The background is iridescent and says "Disney 100" at the top (above the character's head). The base pin is a glitter-filled 3D cast with added laser-printed design, evoking the 1920s Art Deco style in use when the company was formed. The pin-on-pin Character bust portraits are full color.

These LE300 pins were sold in 25 different four-pin packs at the event for $100 per pack. The packs often (but not always) featured two pairs of characters, each pair from a different animated Disney film. Even though they came on their own backer cards, the pins were not available at the event for individual sale or as a mix-and-match. They were only sold to registered event Guests through a Random Selection Process, similar to the annual WDW pin events.
