Front Description
This 12-pin Mystery set was released at Shanghai Disney Resort in early 2024 to celebrate the Spring Festival of the Chinese Year of the Dragon. (There was a matching stop-motion movie short, "Duffy & Friends Rehearsing Dragon Dance", released at the same time.) Each Mystery box contained one random pin shaped like a Disney character riding in a "dragon train" car. When properly combined, the pins resemble two "parade dragon" trains: one with seven pins featuring Duffy and Friends, the other with five pins featuring several classic Disney characters. With the exception of the four dragon "heads and tails", the pins have a small chain attached on their right sides, a small hook on their left. The two "heads" (LinaBell and Minnie Mouse) do not have the chains on their right sides, and the "tails" (Olu and Dale) have no hooks on their left sides. The red bits of the train cars are glittered.
The Chinese characters running down the front of Minnie's "dragon train" combine to form the expression "Wan Shi Ru Yi", which means "May All Your Wishes Come True". The Duffy and Friends "dragon train" reads "Xin Nian Ji Xiang Hao Yun", which means "Good Luck in the New Year".
