This gold pin is a part of series released by the Disney Movie Club before it closed (2023 in Canada, 2024 in the United States).
Pins in this series were all crafted with raised textured gold metal and came on black backing cards that included a quote from the appropriate movie.
They were originally bundled with the associated movie when ordering through the Disney Movie Club, but were later available as a promotional offering gift-with-purchase for any order (1 per order, $12.98 each after the first).
This pin depicts the "baby" version of Groot from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. The black backing card it came on has gold text etched on it.
At the top of the backing card (above the pin) is "Marvel Studios, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2".
At the bottom of the backing card is the text:
