This nine-pin DCA Redwood Creek Challenge Trail Badges set of 2013 Hidden Mickey pins was released in Wave A at Disneyland. Each round pin has a simple outline of a different emblem. The six emblems represent the badges needed to earn the title of “Senior Wilderness Explorer” at the Challenge Trail in the park. Of course, the whole concept was inspired by the little scout, Russell, as seen in the Disney Pixar animated movie, UP! The small Hidden Mickey icon can be found on the right side of the solid-colored pin backgrounds. Pins were originally only available by trading with a cast member. In July 2013, pouches containing two random 2013 Hidden Mickey pins were available to purchase for $10.95.
