Republic of Maldives 5L stamp. Mickey Mouse as a rollerskating mail carrier. Mickey is wearing a brown and teal green mail carrier suit and brown pith helmet hat with yellow ribbon. Mickey’s shoes are brown and the roller skates are the old-fashion variety which attach to shoes with a skate key. Mail bag is yellow and Mickey is holding a white envelope. Pin background is orange. Bottom of pin reads:

There is a small symbol in the lower left corner which appears to be a man with arms upraised. It is the emblem for the 1979 UN sponsored - International Year of the Child.
