This is the silver version of the Walt Disney World service pin for safely piloting the ferry.
Pilot the ferry for 1 year, don't get into an accident, get the 1 Year Safe Piloting Pin.
The pin is shaped like a red-striped life preserver with a ferry depicted in the middle. Below the ferry, "1 YEAR" is engraved. "SAFE" is written at the tip and "PILOTING" at the bottom. This is an identical basic design of all of the Safe Piloting pins awarded to ferry pilots with the difference being the year of service engraved on the pin.
The 1 Year pins for the ferry pilot and monorail pilot service awards had both a silver and gold version; the gold version of this pin is #52022.
The monorail 1 year safe piloting pins are #68502 (gold) and #19242 (silver)
