Front Description
One of fifteen pins from the STAR WARS MOVIE POSTER series released at the Lucasfilm Studios Company Store in 2019. The pins feature various theatrical posters, both domestic and international, spotlighting Star Wars movies. The posters are framed in bronze, with the LucasFilm crossed-lightsabers logo (pin-on-pin element) at the bottom. These were available exclusively at the Lucasfilm Company Store to LucasFilm employees. The series includes five pins for each of the three original Star Wars films.
This pin features a poster used for "Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back". Darth Vader is shown, at the top of the pin, holding a red lightsaber in his right hand and reaching toward the foreground with his left. Inset within the red background is a smaller scene in a rectangle. The text "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" is centered at the top of this smaller section. Beneath this text, the Millennium Falcon is seen, flying from left to right, with a TIE fighter in pursuit and two small figures looking on.
