This seven-pin 8-Bit Characters set of 2019 Hidden Mickey pins was released in Wave A at Walt Disney World. Each tall and thin, rectangular pin features a different Disney character in robot-like form (some liken them to Lego pieces). They’re facing forward, standing up straight, and have their arms down at their sides. This design is intended to imitate the low-res game graphics of early computer days. The small Hidden Mickey icon is in different places on the pins. Pins were originally only available by trading with a cast member. In July 2019, pouches containing two random 2019 Hidden Mickey pins were available to purchase for $12.99.
The six common pins feature Mufasa, Pumbaa, Timon and Simba from Lion King; and Baymax and Armored Baymax from Big Hero 6. Baymax is repeated on the silver Chaser pin.
