Front Description
This is a new 13 pin series released by the DS for Christmas, and it features Pooh dressed as different versions of Santa from around the world. This one is for 20th Century America or the Santa Claus we know today. Pooh is dressed in a red coat and hat with white trim and is holding a wreath in is left hand and a lantern in his right. In addition, there is a wreath behind his right shoulder. Underneath him is a red banner with gold trim that says "20th Century America". His ears, face and hands are flocked but some pins only have two of these items flocked. This pin is sold only with the display card for this set, and the card itself, #36091, features a Christmas tree on a brick background with faded white spots which are supposed to be ornament balls. Each ball has a picture for each Santa represented in this series. The 20th Century Santa is at the top of the tree to represent the tree topper. The lantern that Pooh is carrying also lights up. Pin is 1 1/2" tall. Pins in the series are: Czechoslovakia #16590, Greece # 16591, 19th Century America #16592, Finland #16593, France #16594, Wales #16595, Yugoslavia #16596, Poland #16597, Austria #16598, United Kingdom #16599, Switzerland #16600, Russia #16601, 20th Century America #16602. There is a card, #36091, with a place for each of these pins and with #16602 that lights up, at the top.
