PP1667    WDW - Goofy - Astronaut - Mood - Tomorrowland Space Mountain - Touch Me I Change Colors

This Goofy pin is from the series of "Mood" pins. Goofy is in a Spacesuit from Tomorrowland, and the pin changes color when touched. Card had special tag that said "Touch Me I Change Colors".

In the description of Pin 455: WDW - Mood Astronaut Series (Mickey), part of this series of pins, is stated this - (the pin) "changes color when subjected to heat of any kind; it can be rubbed, touched, or put in sunlight and it will change (color) from ....." "Over time, the mood ring color-changing feature seems to "wear out," and the areas (certain trim areas) simply become a nice dark blue to compliment the brown trim." This appears to be the case with the Goofy pin I recently acquired. It does not change color. His suit is a sort of green/tan with areas of blue (used to change color?) trim. It is a rather thin metal pin with an epoxy-type coating finish. The back of the pin is black metal and says (c) DISNEY, TAIWAN. There are 2 posts and the pin measures 1" high by 2" wide.
