This gorgeous pin is one of ten "OFF THE PAGE" Series 1 pins released on 20 Apr 2023 by Walt Disney Imagineering at Mickey's of Glendale in Hollywood, California. The pins are shaped like three pieces of paper scattered around a tabletop. The bottom one is a blank sheet of ivory-colored paper, nearly all of which is covered by the other two sheets. The middle sheet is a piece of white paper with a pencil and printed pencil sketch of one or more characters from a particular Disney film. The top sheet is a full-color rendition of the sketch, with a paintbrush and printed scenery background. Atop the background, as a pin-on-pin element, is the film character(s). This pin features Simba, the young lion depicted as a cub with Zazu the toucan perched on his head. Behind the pair the African savannah is pictured including Pride Rock on the left side. The paintbrush has red paint on its tip.
