Front Description
This rare pin was made to commemorate the release of the Disney Genie service in Fall of 2021 (October to be precise). It appears it was given to cast members of the DPEP (Disney Parks, Experiences and Products) Technology and Digital team.
The pin bears the text "Disney Genie" in white, with glitter featured in the letters of "Genie". Beneath this in light blue is "DPEP TECH & DIGITAL" followed by "FALL 2021" in white. There are stars and swirls in the background of the pin, which is coloured blue at the top left fading into purple on the bottom right.
Genie is the complimentary planning service that is available through the Disney Parks apps for guests to make a schedule and get recommendations for activities at the park. Genie and Genie+ (the paid upgrade allowing skipping lines) replaced the previous FastPass system. In 2024, Genie+ was converted to "Lightning Lane Multi Pass", although Genie still exists as a planning feature.
