Front Description
One of four DISNEY CHARACTERS MUSIC BOX pins from a four-pin boxed set released on 9 Aug 2024 at the D23 Marketplace during the 2024 Expo. The set features four animated Disney characters: Sebastian (from Little Mermaid), Lumiere (from Beauty and the Beast), young Simba (from Lion King), and Genie (from Aladdin). The first three pins were also available for purchase as singles in their own boxes, but Genie was a Completer pin that was only available in this set.
Each character is sitting on a metal base shaped to look like an old-fashioned music box with a colored Mickey-icon winding key on the right side. On the metal base is a pin-on-pin element of 3D-sculpted metal icons and the name of a movie song specific to each character. The "globe" part of the pin, attached to the top of the metal base, features the character as they looked during the scene when they're singing the song named below.
This pin features Lumiere, the debonair candlestick from Disney's animated "Beauty and the Beast, singing and dancing in the movie's iconic "Be Our Guest" number. He's holding his top hat and cane and standing against a background of three dinner plates with pink, blue and pearlescent purple rims. The metal on his music box is a silver color with a purple winding key that matches the background behind Lumiere.
200 of this LE950 pin were available as part of the $160 four-pin set, the other 700 sold individually in their own boxes for $39.99 each.
