Front Description
One of four pins from the BIG THUNDER MOUNTAIN RAILROAD boxed set, released by WDI (Mickey's of Glendale) on 10 Aug at the 2024 D23 Expo, was issued to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the attraction. This set was limited to one per guest. There are four train cars (viz., an engine pulling three passenger cars) on a printed cardstock background. Each of the cars is a single pin, the largest measuring somewhere near 3.5 inches wide.
The Number 2 engine says U.S. DARING on the side but has no characters in it. The passenger car behind it has Mickey and Minnie in the front seat, with Daisy Duck and Clarabelle the cow behind them. The third car show Donald Duck and Goofy in the front seat, with Louie and Dewey (two of Donald's nephews) sitting behind them. In the fourth and final car are Pluto and Huey (the third of Donald's nephews) in the front, with Pete taking up the last seat by himself.
This pin features the passenger car carrying Pluto, Donald's nephew Huey, and Pete.
