Front Description
This pin features the flag of the United States of America (USA) in a Mickey-head icon. It is the fourth version of the pin originally released at WDW in its World Showcase Flags series and has the Official Pin Trading 2002 logo on it. It has been verified that a member actually bought this OPT 2002 version at one of the stores in Magic Kingdom during 2002. It has also been verified that a member bought this on a card from Disney in 2008.
There are later years on some pins, but many Cast Members at WDW believed that a lot of the pin with later dates were not real pins. This is, of course, not an absolute, but it seems worth mentioning.
This pin listing is for the version with these measurements and the OPT 2002 (or later) logo on the back. There are separate listings for the earlier versions of this World Showcase pin. However, this design has been released (and scrapped) many times through the years, in other sizes and with different backstamps. There may be slight differences in the number of stripes and stars (real and not), so look closely at your pin. You may have to search the PinPics database to find your pin. Please carefully check the dimensions and back of your pin before cataloguing.
