PP172766    Captain Hook - Millennium Disney Villains Series - Version 2

One of four VILLAINS pins originally released in 1998 and then featured as part of the WDW Millennium Celebration pins released in late 1999. This version (backstamp) was sold until it was re-ordered with the 2000 Hand in Hand logo on the back. Each of the pins features a different Disney villain portrait inside an ornate, antique-bronze frame which resembles the Magic Mirror from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". The top of the pin was coated with epoxy, which has yellowed with age. Characters in the series include the Old Hag, Maleficent, Chernabog, and Captain Hook.

This pin features a sneering CAPTAIN HOOK, from Disney's animated PETER PAN, wearing his pirate outfit and holding his hook hand up high. The background is blue (which has darkened with the aged epoxy).
