Front Description
Released on April 13, 2024, at the Hong Kong Disneyland 2024 Pin Trading Carnival, this set of limited edition pins (LE 600) features Mickey and Friends delighting in a variety of dim sum dishes. The collection includes eight pins, each showcasing a different Disney character enjoying their own type of dim sum. When fully assembled, the pins form the shape of Mickey’s iconic head. Four of the pins come together to create a dim sum steamer basket, while the remaining four pins form Mickey’s ears and additional steamer baskets, each surrounded by beloved characters.
Dim sum has its origins in the tea houses of Guangzhou, where travelers would pause for a cup of tea and a light snack. Over the years, these humble snacks evolved into the elaborate and beloved dishes we now know as dim sum. More than just food, dim sum symbolizes community, family gatherings, and the joy of sharing meals together. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Goofy, Chip, Dale and Clarice are clearly enjoying their special meal and each other's company.
