PP17350    Japan - Mickey Mouse - Kimono - New Year 2002 - TDL

Front Description

This pin is almost identical to that featured in the framed set (#17347), but is not 3D, just a single layer cloisonne type pin. Also, rather than painting the Disneyland Castle, as his "kakizome" (first auspicious writings of the New Year done in calligraphy), Mickey has written "mi", which can also be read as "hitsuji" (sheep) - why? because 2003 is the year of the sheep! The framed set released at the park is under #17344. Mickey is in front of a yellow fan.

Back Description
