PP1739    WDW - Baseball Minnie Mouse at Bat - Spring Training 2000

Front Description

Released in May 2000, this pin features MINNIE MOUSE standing at home plate and ready for the pitch. She's holding a baseball bat behind her head, ready to swing. Under her is the Walt Disney World logo.

 

This and the Baseball Mickey counterpart were to come out in honor of Spring Training 2000, since the Atlanta Braves trained at the Disney-owned Wide World of Sports resort. Unfortunately, release of the pins was delayed due to manufacturing problems. At the time, they were briefly (and mistakenly) thought to have been Memorial Day pins.
