Front Description

One of the six pins from the NEWSPAPER BOXED SET released on 6 Jun 2025 at the NIFTIE FIFTIES FLASHBACK pin event held at Disneyland. Three of the pins are renditions of a 1960 Disneyland newspaper ad campaign which featured imaginary words to describe the fun waiting for you at Disneyland. The other three pins are trying to re-create the illustration on each newspaper with classic animated Disney characters. The pins may feature pin-on-pin elements and/or translucent fill. Designed by Jason Peltz.

 

This newspaper-shaped pin says FRIENDLYABLE! It shows "Captain Sam Clemens" doffing his cap at you from the Mark Twain Riverboat. This illustration has been reimagined in the Mickey pin from this boxed set.
